Alright! I’ve finished the second of three hedgehogs that will be sent off to three (very lucky, in my opinion) kids for Christmas. All the same things I said about this pattern when I posted Zeke still apply—I love this pattern, and I will knit it many many more times I’m sure! The only addition with this hedgehog, is I held along another strand of eyelash yarn to give it that little something extra. I think it makes this hedgie even more special—and super girly with the strands of pink, shiny gold, and turquoise mixed in with the fur. This isn’t the first time I’ve done this. I did it before to give the brown hedgehog in this photo extra black spikes. That little guy was so cute, but unfortunately when I brought him into the LYS I used to teach at he was stolen! Can you believe it? :(

For some reason this hedgehog’s name and story haven’t come to me yet. Sometimes it seems their personalities just jump out but this time I can’t believe I can’t even think of a name! Got any ideas? You guys are always so good at this kind of stuff!

I still have one more hedgie to finish up and I’ll probably be posting him sometime next week. He’s still just a hedgehog front at the moment!

The girliest hedgehog around.

Another fantastic hedgehog. I have to second the name of Molly. It's a perfect choice.

How about Violet? To go with the girliness.

For a kids toy I think Trixie is a perfect name.

Oh, and since you chose the post title, how about Molly? You know...Ringwald?

Too cute! This is on my very short "to knit" list right now, because of you! I have to keep the list short or I'll go nuts thinking about everything I could be knitting, if I weren't, well, nursing!

Your hedgehogs are too cute. I'll have to add that pattern to my "must knit at some point in the not-too-distant future" list.
